This workshop, led by trainers from the NCVO’s Sustainable Funding Project, is aimed at voluntary and community organisations wishing to explore financial sustainability through:

  • Income diversification – exploring a sustainable and diverse funding mix of income sources
  • Planning – an understanding of strategic planning and the role of robust financial management
  • Earning – generating income through contractual work and trading goods and services

This workshop will show you how to inspire and enable collaboration. It will: Give you an overview of collaboration, the drivers, context and why it's so high on the agenda; Give you ideas for where collaboration might be used and how; Provide tools for preparing for and running that first meeting; Give you tips on facilitating meetings and keeping things moving; Identify possible obstacles and how to overcome them; Identify models of collaboration; Show you how organisations can achieve more together than they could alone.
