Training - Commissioning and Procurement: Introduction course to bidding for, and winning, public service contracts

17 June 2008, 10am-4pm;
Voluntary Action Westminster, 37 Chapel Street, London NW1 5DP

It is not news that many local authorities including Westminster are moving away from traditional grant funding leaving many of us to compete for funding that we have been receiving for many years. But it is not all bad news. Contracts, if we are able to get them could enable us to generate enough surplus which we can use to fund other activities or have put aside for a rainy day. It is also a short cut to establishing close working relationship with our statuary partners - a relationship that might serve as a springboard for further funding. If you want to know where to get a start, come to our commissioning and procurement training course. The course will be delivered by Paul Bragman, and NCVO approved consultant, with 18 years experience.

To book, call 020 7723 1216 or email training@vawcvs.org
