Website Planning Support

Moda is currently exploring ways of offering interested migrant groups practical support to publicise their activities and services on the web.MODA is willing to respond to the needs of other groups interested in developing a website by offering a workshop opportunity if there is demand. We are also interested in hearing from any groups who might be interested in offering webspace or web links to other migrants groups.MODA is willing to help groups to apply for website funding. To do this we need you tell us the following information:

1. Information about your users groups - numbers, age, ethnic origins, boroughs, needs.
In what ways do you hope your clients will benefit from your webiste and internet facilities? Will you be able to use a website to promote wider access to your services? Information about your organization - aims, current activities and services (please mention any services you plan to offer in the next year as well as your current services). Please describe how you currently advertise your services.
In what ways will your organisation benefit from a webiste? (eg publicity, networking with other voluntery organizations and cultural groups). In what ways will a web site be good value for money (eg cost effective email bulleting...). Information about your current computer facilities and internet access.

2.Please also describe your website training needs (number of staff/volunteers you would like to train) and let us know whether you are interested in sharing webspace with other organizations or whether you feel you have the staff resources to launch and update an independent web site.
